Summer Ventures for young people: 9-12s Lighthouse (nr Swindon), 7 - 14 August 11-14s Sibford (nr Banbury), 8 - 15 August 14-18s (members), 18-20 (helpers) Sparkford (nr Yeovil), 13 - 21 August International Guest Service, Sunday 8 August at 5:30pm. Bartow Wylie speaking on Why Christianity is not just for Christians. There will be a meal after the service for international guests and those who bring them. Church Picnic, Sunday 22 August around noon at Milton Country Park near the children's playground. Bring your own picnic. Meet after 10:30am service on the grass behind the church building if you need a lift or can offer one. Women's Evening, Tuesday 31 August at 7:45pm in the church hall. An opportunity for women of all ages from St. Matthew's church family to get to know one another a little better while trying out various activities from jewelery making to cup cake decorating. No charge, but optional donations on the evening. Please sign up on notice board as you leave to give us an idea of numbers. Church weekend away, 22 - 24 October, at Letton Hall, Norfolk.
